  • Peer learning, obtaining ongoing encouragement, motivation and improvement of skills in modern farming practices.
  • Access to new technologies and skills in effective management of resources. Leading to improved farming techniques and enhancement in farming productivity/yields.
  • Creation of job opportunities and access to finance.
  • Deeper understanding of marketing strategies and their executions.

Examples of Linking Farmers through Expos and Training.

KEYRIO FARM AT MACHAKOS EXPO 2025

The Expo was well attended and farmers were able to learn about modern technologies for growing Chia and Oyster Mushrooms. In addition, they also received information on both smart and circular systems of farming.

TRAINING AND WORKSHOPS

Trainings and workshops are other forums that bring farmers together for learning purposes in a conducive environment for a common goal.

Farmers share experiences in farming, challenges, interactions with new and seasoned farmers through hands-on experience and are encouraged to adopt new and better technological farming ideas for increased productivity.
